There was an enormous oak in the quad, that had huge branches. I would climb up about 20 feet and sit on a branch and study. Or take naps in the sunlight, like a lazy leopard. A poster below mentioned tree riding, but we played differently and called it tree surfing. I grew up with miles of forest behind me, and the idea was to climb up a tree that we thought would bend over far enough to ride down.
